START IT

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoice to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand. (Zechariah 4:19) Learn to talk less and do more. Let your actions speak louder than your words. People will respect you more for what you are doing than what you intend to do. There are people with many good and great intentions who lack the power to turn their dreams to manifestation. Every great tree was once a seed. It was the effort to plant the seed and the patience to watch it grow that resulted to the shed and fruits we enjoy today. Be humble enough to start small. Don't mind what people will think and don't let pride stop you from making that profitable move this weekend. Many people despise small beginnings because they don't understand the principles of greatness. How you start is not an indication of how you will end. Small beginnings have a way of leading to great endings. You may start small but what you know will make you become gr...

MANAGE YOUR TIME.

So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom. (Psalm 90:12) One of the greatest asset in life is TIME. As we grow older, it dawns on us that our time on gets limited as each day passes by. One day you will stand before God and give account of what you did with the TIME allotted to you.  God is a just God and there is no unrighteousness in Him. He gave every man on earth equal TIME of twenty-four hours daily regardless of your country or origin, your race or face. But what we choose to invest this TIME on and how we manage it determines the outcome and the achievements of our life. It is rightly said, "TIME and tide waits for no man" you are not getting any younger. Rise up! Take charge of your life by managing your TIME effectively. Master the art of "TIME MANAGEMENT". TIME management refers to the art of managing time effectively so that the right time is allocated to achieving a specific goal per time.  KEYS FOR EFFECTIVE TIME MANAGEMENT: 1. ...

THE POWER OF FASTING AND PRAYER 3 ACCESS TO DIVINE LEADING!

While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them. Acts 13:2 Fasting and prayer gives us access to His leading. The early church wanted to be sure of those to send with the gospel to Cyprus. Instead of making their choice through the senses or  by men's opinion they decided to make out time to fast and pray about their decision. As we can see in our scriptural text, the bible says the Holy Spirit led them to set apart Barnabas and Saul for the work. When we fast and pray the Holy Spirit can lead us to make the right decisions this year, work with the right people and be in the right place. A lot of people make a mess of their life and ruin their destiny because they don't spend time to enquire from God through fasting and prayers. Fasting helps increase your spiritual sensitivity. It makes the spirit to dominate the flesh and as a result of that, you are able to discern accur...

THE POWER OF FASTING AND PRAYER 2 DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE!

"But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting". You may not know what the future holds and that is the more reason why you should hold unto the one who holds the future. God knows what lies ahead of us this year and as we connect with him through prayer and fasting he empowers us to overcome, prevail and win over every battle, challenges and attacks of the enemy that may come our way. From the Scripture above tells us about the response of Jesus to his disciples when they were faced with an impossible situation that has to do with a man whose son was sick. The disciples tried all they could but their efforts to heal the young man was not fruitful. When Jesus showed up, the seemingly impossible situation became possible. Jesus was able to heal the man's son. So the disciples were amazed and they asked Jesus why they couldn't do it.  I declare: May Jesus shows up in your marriage, shows up in your finances, family in the name of Jesus. Where your strength...

THE POWER OF FASTING AND PRAYER 1.

In weariness and painfulness, in watching often, in hunger and thirst, in fasting often, in cold and nakedness. 2 Corinthians 11:27 The need for fasting and prayer in our Christian walk as believers cannot be overemphasized. Fasting is indispensable. Ever believer who desires spiritual growth, access to great dimensions of God's glory and power must be committed to consistent lifestyle of fasting and prayer. The spiritual above 2 Corinthians, reveals a powerful secret of Apostle Paul.  The secret of the success and exploit of a man can be traceable to what he does often and not occasionally.  Here, Apostle Paul makes us understand that he gave himself to fasting often. This undoubtedly show us what we must also dedicate ourselves to especially at this time of the year. 1 Corinthians 11:1 says: Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. As we imitate Apostle Paul and follow suit, we will begin to experience the supernatural exploits in our time and day as seen in bible days. ...

START WITH PRAYER.

O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Psalm 90:14 Starting the year in prayerlessness is a very dangerous move to make. From the scripture above, we see David placing a demand on God in the place of prayer for early satisfaction. He is asking God God to satisfy him early with mercy. Why was he specific by adding "early" and not just saying oh Lord satisfy us with your mercy? The mistake most of us make in our prayer, is failure to be specific and detailed in our prayer. The demand for earl satisfaction will result to early accomplishment and achievements. Now is the time for you to learn this wisdom from David and tell the Lord that you desire to be satisfied early in 2021 with his mercy, favour, goodness, presence, wisdom, success and vision. Halleluyah! Lateness and delay is when the achievement of January is accomplished in December. May you not be found sleeping while your mate are succeeding, maximising their year and prosperin...

CHOOSE TO SEEK GOD EARLY.

O God, you are my God, early will I seek you;  my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1 The choice to seek God early is the key to timely accomplishments in life. Many often miss their set time and season because of their unwillingness to seek God early. The psalmist said early will I seek thee. Don't wait for the worst to happen before you seek him.  As we begin this New Year, now is the time for you to prayerfully seek the face of God, listen to his instructions, enquire from him and receive God's vision for your life this year. Be intentional about your success this year. Take responsibility for your life. Be determined and committed to seek God early before you make any decision or conclude on anything this year. Those who seek God early can never arrive late and those who seek Him first can never be last. I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you this year in all you do. No matter the pressure and c...

GOD IS MY BEGINNING.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. (Revelation 22:13) Jesus said, "I am the Beginning and the End". He didn't say I am in the beginning. As you begin 2021, don't just see God in the beginning, but rather see him as your beginning. In other words don't just make him a part of your year and your vision, but make him your vision and your focus and you will be amazed how everything else will automatically turn out great in your life.  When we get a hold of this revelation, everything we do this year will be all about Him and not us.  Here is what the Bible says; Matthew 6:33  But seek you first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  Points to Note:  1. Seek Him first: Not seek him last. The woman with the issue of blood for 12years sought him last that's why she wasted all resources consulting physicians. When your first is not the kingdom of God and His righteousn...

....AND WE GIVE THANKS

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, His love endures forever. 1 Chronicles 16:34 (NIV) Dearly beloved, I welcome you specially to a new and glorious year 2021. It is a great blessing and privilege to see another year and all we can say is "Lord we are grateful". Our scriptural text today admonishes us about the need to give thanks to the Lord for he is good and his love endures forever. Failure to be thankful is a sign of ingratitude and a display of ignorance. Even if the goals you had set for the previous years were not accomplished. You have every reason to be thankful to God for the life you have.  The bible says; Anyone who is among the living has hope, even a live dog is better off than a dead lion! (Ecclesiastes 9:4).  You thank God for three(3) reasons: 1. Thank Him for what he did and how far He has brought you. 2. Thank Him for where you are and what He is doing that you might not even be aware of. 3. Thank Him for where he is taking you to and what He is ...

A LEPER, YET A WORSHIPPER.

Large crowds followed Jesus as he came down the mountainside. Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Jesus. He knelt before him, worshiping. "Lord," the man said,"if you want to, you can make me well again. " Jesus touched him, "I want to," he said. "Be healed!" And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Matthew 8:1-3NLT Ideclare: In the name of Jesus Christ, Receive an instant miracle in this month of November. Hear me child of God, your circumstances should never take you away from God, rather draw you close to God. In your moment of trial should be when you are closer to Jesus.  In the above scripture, we are told of a leper who approached Jesus. In life, there are situations that can be beyond human control. When found in it don't draw back from God, rather get close to Jesus. I have seen cases where people rather stay at home than coming to church. I believed the sickness was never intentional but accidental. Such was the case of a Leper i...

THE WIFE WHO WAS NOT CONDEMNED.

A certain man married a beautiful lady. Somebody used to visit his wife everyday to give her advice. After some time, the adviser would also have sex with her. One day, the man discovered his wife having sex with the adviser. When I heard about this, I was expecting that the husband would condemn his wife and drive her away but he did not. He rather turned to her and said, "I love you and I want you to be my wife. It does not matter what has happened. You are the only wife I want." This was an amazing show of love to a wife he should have condemned. From where I come from, by now the woman would have been sacked from her home, and viral on social media, etc. This is how Jesus' love is. He sees everything but He does not condemned us!  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:17) halleluyah! He so much loved you, sent his only Son as substitute for your sins, that whoever believes in him will not ...

YOU ARE A SAVIOUR.

And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S. (Obadiah 1:21) Obadiah gives a great prophecy of the coming of saviours. Who are these saviours? I thought Jesus Christ was the Saviour? Indeed, Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world! Luke 2:11  For unto you is born this day in the city of David A SAVIOUR, which is Christ the Lord.  Even though Jesus is the Saviour of the world, there is something we are supposed to do to save people. In a sense, that makes us also saviours of men. The world is in dare need of saviours now than ever in history. The earnest expectation of creation awaits our manifestation as sons of God. We are to produce the acts of God we have experienced in the lives of others also. You were saved to save others, blessed to be a blessing, shown mercy so you can also be merciful to others. Don't stop the circle. God is depending on you and I, your generation is waiting for saviours who will deliver...

THE JOY OF SERVING GOD

And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD”. - Joshua 24:15 Joshua certainly understood how joyful it was to serve the LORD. So many do not understand the benefits of serving the LORD. Joshua refused to follow the opinions of the majority of the people but made it his personal decision to serve the Lord with his household. Serving the Lord has to be a personal decision you make with God. Even when others refuse to yield themselves to the work of God because of their ignorance of the blessings of service, you would joyfully make yourself a vessel that God can use at all times because you have understanding of God’s blessings. Few reasons why many do not serve the Lord: 1. They think they don’t have the time. 2. They will do it later. 3. Th...

HEALTH IN THE WORD.

Pay attention, my child, to what I say. Listen carefully. Don't lose of my words. Let them penetrate deep within your heart, for they bring life and radiant health to anyone who discovers their meaning. (Proverbs 4:20-22 NLT) . Beloved, people may help you pay for everything in life, but there's only one thing you must paid for which is WISDOM. Gods' word is pregnant with so much but the challenge is that, many people don't spend time and give attention to Gods' word . What you don't seek after, you can't find . Proverbs 4:22 makes us understand that the word shall be health to all our flesh (including your kidney, liver, brain cells, heart, lungs, bone, blood, etc) unto those who find it. Meaning not everybody but specific people who spend time to search out the truth does find it.  Instead of brooding over the medical report over and over again and observing those symptoms, why not start seeking for Gods' opinion in His word. The Bible is Gods' rep...

THE BLESSING OF FRUITHFULNESS.

Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground." Genesis 1:28 NLT The first blessing that was released on man is the blessing of fruitfulness. What does it mean to be fruitful. Fruitfulness is the empowerment to bear fruits. Another word for fruitfulness is to be productive; to generate results; to prosper.  God planted man on earth as a seed, expected man to bear fruits. When a man is barren, his prayer can be hindered. Why? Because man was designed to bear fruits in as much you're not bearing fruit your prayer can be hindered.  You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last, so that my Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. ( John 15:16).  In other words, the reason why you don't received whatever you ask for is because of your unfruitfulness. Because you were cho...

LISTEN TO GODS' VOICE TODAY

"Today if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts against Him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled against Him in the desert.” (Hebrew 3:15). God speaks to his creation at all times. As we read the bible we see instances where God spoke to unbelievers, example; Saul,  Nebuchadnezzar etc. Jesus spoke to the wind and it obeyed him, He also spoke to the fig tree. How much more you his child. It is an error for you to say you can’t hear his voice.  Jesus speaking in..…John 10:27 said; “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”  As Gods' children, we have the capacity and the ability to hear His voice. But the challenge is; a lot of us do not pay attention and listen to what God is saying. Probably because we are waiting to have the Saul’s encounter of a voice speaking from heaven (Act 9:4). God speaks to us in our spirit with a small still voice. Prophet Elijah had an encounter with this voice… II Kings 19:12 -13 “...and ...

GODS' PROMISES

The Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what he had promised. Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. (Genesis 21:1-2) Understand that our God is a Covenant Keeping God. Whatever God says He will do, that, He will surely do. He has the capacity and capability to do it. Jesus was speaking to His disciples and said; “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible”. (Mark 10:27). Whatever promise God has for you in His word, He is able to bring it to pass. But the things that bring about the delays are; unbelief, doubt, fear, and sin (Mark 11:23). Make sure you deal with these four things and stop them before they stop you from possessing your possession. Do you also desire the fruit of the womb like  Sarah? The word says…. “None shall be barren” (Deuteronomy 7:14). Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I decree God’s visitat...

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT

Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses (I Timothy 6:12). In the journey of life, battles are not optional but mandatory. Even at birth, a child must be made to cry. At that point, he fights to overcome the force that wants to keep his lungs closed; so as to  live. Henceforth, various battles begin.  When one becomes born again, the dynamics of the fight changes. He will still fight but this time around it is a good fight. The bible calls it the “Good Fight of Faith”. The fight is a good fight; the weaponry is also a unique one, FAITH. So a believer fights the good fight of faith, this fight is  termed a good fight because the end is determined from the beginning. Victory is guaranteed at the end. It is a fight to be won. Halleluyah! It is like watching a replayed boxing match whose winner you already know. The same way, God is not bothered about what fight ...

THE WISDOM OF GOD.

Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His. And he changes the times and the seasons: He removes  Kings, and sets up Kings; He gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding. (Daniel 2:20-21) This is profound words of Daniel praising God of all possibilities when he was with his friends narrating his experience to interpret and tell king Nebuchadnezzar of the dream he had.  There is a wisdom from God that dethrones and enthrones. When you walk in the wisdom of God, you take your place in destiny; you get blessed by the same circumstances that destroy others; when  men are saying “There is a casting down”, You shall say “There is a lifting up”. The wisdom of God is superior to every other  wisdom.  Five (5) important truths you need to know about the wisdom of God;  1. God is the source of wisdom  2. God is the fountain of wisdom  3. God is the giver of wisdom...

HIS PRESENCE MY TREASURE

Then Moses said to Him, “If your presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here”(Exodus 33:15). Hear me and hear me well, it is the hunger for Gods' presence that determines access to satisfaction in life. Moses understood the significance and importance of Gods' presence to the point that he couldn’t  imagine how he can survive a minute without it or take a step void of divine presence.  What's the presence of God? The presence of God refers to the manifestation of his person. It is the presence of God in a Mans' life that makes the difference.  That presence is what distinguishes an unbeliever from a child of God. Exodus 33:16 “…what else will distinguish me and your  people from all the other people on the face of the earth”? What a profound question asked by Moses, to be sure of who he is. God responded him, i will go with you and you will enjoy rest. Beloved, the absence of Gods' presence in a mans' life is the presence of frustration. And in His...
