THE POWER OF FASTING AND PRAYER 2 DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE!

"But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting".

You may not know what the future holds and that is the more reason why you should hold unto the one who holds the future. God knows what lies ahead of us this year and as we connect with him through prayer and fasting he empowers us to overcome, prevail and win over every battle, challenges and attacks of the enemy that may come our way.

From the Scripture above tells us about the response of Jesus to his disciples when they were faced with an impossible situation that has to do with a man whose son was sick. The disciples tried all they could but their efforts to heal the young man was not fruitful. When Jesus showed up, the seemingly impossible situation became possible. Jesus was able to heal the man's son. So the disciples were amazed and they asked Jesus why they couldn't do it.

I declare: May Jesus shows up in your marriage, shows up in your finances, family in the name of Jesus.

Where your strength fail you,  may Jesus shows up for you in Jesus name.

Matthew 14:19 says,  then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, " why couldn't we drive it out?

Wow! Can you see how shocked they were? What took them hours of labour, was resolved with ease by a man who gave himself to fasting and prayer. As you give yourself to fasting and prayer this early part of the year, may you be a wonder to many in Jesus name. Where they fail, you will succeed and what seems impossible to them shall be possible to you in Jesus name.

Matthew 19:26  Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Glory!!! Not some things, not few things but all things are possible with God. Your marriage, it is possible! Your ministry, it is possible! Your career, it is possible! Halleluyah

Jeremiah 32:27  I am the LORD, the God of all mankind, is anything too hard for me?

The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, the same word is coming to you this day. Is anything too hard for God to do? Whatever the crisis, drop it at His feet. He's able!

Pray With Me

1. I will do the impossible and command uncommon exploits this year in Jesus name.

2. Nothing will limit my destiny this year in Jesus.

3. I am empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve the Lord like never before in Jesus name.

GODS' PROMISES

The Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did for Sarah what he had promised. Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. (Genesis 21:1-2) Understand that our God is a Covenant Keeping God. Whatever God says He will do, that, He will surely do. He has the capacity and capability to do it. Jesus was speaking to His disciples and said; “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible”. (Mark 10:27). Whatever promise God has for you in His word, He is able to bring it to pass. But the things that bring about the delays are; unbelief, doubt, fear, and sin (Mark 11:23). Make sure you deal with these four things and stop them before they stop you from possessing your possession. Do you also desire the fruit of the womb like  Sarah? The word says…. “None shall be barren” (Deuteronomy 7:14). Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I decree God’s visitat...

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT

Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses (I Timothy 6:12). In the journey of life, battles are not optional but mandatory. Even at birth, a child must be made to cry. At that point, he fights to overcome the force that wants to keep his lungs closed; so as to  live. Henceforth, various battles begin.  When one becomes born again, the dynamics of the fight changes. He will still fight but this time around it is a good fight. The bible calls it the “Good Fight of Faith”. The fight is a good fight; the weaponry is also a unique one, FAITH. So a believer fights the good fight of faith, this fight is  termed a good fight because the end is determined from the beginning. Victory is guaranteed at the end. It is a fight to be won. Halleluyah! It is like watching a replayed boxing match whose winner you already know. The same way, God is not bothered about what fight ...
