THURSDAY 22ND AUGUST I AM NOT LUCKY, I AM BLESSED. The blessing of the Lord brings wealth without painful toil for it (Proverbs 10:22) It is an insult to redemption to think that a child of God doing well and flourishing is just lucky. We are not victims of natural occurrences and chances like those in the world, but we are a product of the blessing of God. Then, what is the blessing? 1. The blessing is the empowerment to prosper. 2. The blessing is the invisible force of grace at work on my inside which influences everything around me to flourish. We don't get wealth through fraud, gimmicks, lies, toil and the like. It is the blessing that brings wealth. This is what we discovered from our scriptural text today,  the blessing can never deliver where laziness and idleness abound, but it answers to hardwork and diligence. Abraham was a blessed man but he was not an idle man. (Genesis 24:35) says, Abram had become very wealthy in livestock and in silver and gold. He was a fa
WEDNESDAY 21ST AUGUST FREE FROM CONDEMNATION For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved (John 3:17). There is no place for condemnation in Christ. God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save it. Romans 8:1 says, Therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Notice the scripture says, Now there is no condemnation. It is a present reality. It is not what we shall experience in heaven, but NOW. Today God wants you to receive the gift of no condemnation. This gift will cause you to walk tall and be a true success. This gift will also save you from a life of stress, fear, restlessness and even sickness and disease. That is because everything that happens in the soul-the emotional and mental realms will affect your physical body if it is not properly dealt with. It is interesting to know that the word
Champions' Breakfast Rev Lawrence Onochie  *ENLARGE YOUR CAPACITY*  *1Sam 17:32*  And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. So many people are meant to be mega entrepreneurs, but have remained in the confines of that job where they work; after all, they are satisfied because they are guaranteed daily bread at the end of the day, thinking only about themselves. What about the people that God already connected to your destiny, that you should be paying their bills and salaries? You must deliberately increase and enlarge your capacity for risk. The only regret most people have at the end of their lives is the regret of not trying, not daring. It is better to try and fail than not to try at all. The bible says though the righteous falls seven times, he will rise again. How can he fall if he has not been trying? Listen, God is more excited with those who try and fail, than those who do not try at al
9TH AUGUST 2019      YOU ARE BLESSED " But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; it's leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit" (Jeremiah 17:7-8). I am from a generation of people that see fellow men as their last hope. No! It is wrong. Atimes we put our trust in business, wealth acquisition, acquaintances, marriages etc. The more your trust is in all of these, the frustrated you become. Hear the word of God to you, blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water....... Hallelujah! When your trust is in the Lord, you lack nothing. You are not afraid of the dry season because your flow of livelihood is not from a man, is from God. Glory!!! And there's a constant flow of fruits bearing. When me
FRIDAY 2ND AUGUST STOP COMPLAINING And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and His anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them and consumed them that were in the uttermost part of the camp. (Numbers 11:1). Appreciation gets God's attention but complaining attracts His anger. One of the greatest thing that displeases God is complain. Ingratitude demeans God's omnipotence. Complains set in when we focus on what is not working, instead of focusing on God's word. Understand that there are a lot of good things happening in your life right now, but the attitude of ingratitude will make you ignore them and never acknowledge the good things in you, but instead emphasize on the negatives by complaining. See what the Bible says in Philemon 6; that the communion of your faith may become effectual by the ACKNOWLEDGING OF EVERY GOOD THING WHICH IS IN YOU IN CHRIST JESUS. Choose to acknowledge and focus on your strength and
