THE POWER OF FASTING AND PRAYER 3 ACCESS TO DIVINE LEADING!

 While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them. Acts 13:2

Fasting and prayer gives us access to His leading. The early church wanted to be sure of those to send with the gospel to Cyprus. Instead of making their choice through the senses or  by men's opinion they decided to make out time to fast and pray about their decision. As we can see in our scriptural text, the bible says the Holy Spirit led them to set apart Barnabas and Saul for the work. When we fast and pray the Holy Spirit can lead us to make the right decisions this year,work with the right people and be in the right place.

A lot of people make a mess of their life and ruin their destiny because they don't spend time to enquire from God through fasting and prayers. Fasting helps increase your spiritual sensitivity. It makes the spirit to dominate the flesh and as a result of that, you are able to discern accurately the perfect will of God concerning you at all time.

Don't be in a hurry this year and start running around in the power of the flesh but rather seek for the help of the spirit. Remember the bible says in Zechariah 4:6  This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubabel, saying, not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

How you start can have an effect on how you will end. Start with God and you will have a blessed year.

Psalm 23:3   True to your word, you let me catch me breath and send me in the right direction.

Exodus 13:21  God went ahead of them in a Pillar of Cloud during the day to guide them on the way, and at night in a Pillar of Fire to give them light;

Don't be led by your feelings, information on your local television, environmental factor, be led by God. Let Him take the lead then you follow. Halleluyah!

Pray With Me:

1. Thank you Heavenly Father for giving us the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us.

2. Increase my sensitivity oh Lord and help me to be more yielded to your leading in Jesus name.

3. Holy Spirit influence dominates my mind and my entire life, for extraordinary living in Jesus name. Amen

PRAYER OF SALVATION:

I believe you have been blessed by this message. I invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life by praying this prayer now;

Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, I believe you died for  me and resurrected for my justification.

Today, I confess with my mouth that I accept Jesus into my life as my Lord and Saviour; I receive forgiveness of all my sins. I'm born again. Thank you Lord for the salvation of my soul. AMEN

SUNDAY 14TH JULY BORN FOR DOMINION Then God said, let us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. (Genesis 1:26). When God made man, He gave man dominion over everything on earth. To have an idea of the kind of dominion that man would have had if he had not sinned, let's look at the perfect man Jesus Christ. When Jesus wanted to pay the temple tax, He only needed to command a miracle money into a fish and sent his discipline to get it ( Matthew 17:24-27). When He wanted to feed the multitude, He only needed to multiply five loaves of bread and two fishes in His hands(Mark 6:34-44) and many other miracles Jesus did, manifesting His dominion on earth. He even brought the dead back to life because He had dominion over death. Child of God, you can walk in the same dominion Christ walked while on e...

THE POWER OF FASTING AND PRAYER 2 DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE!

 "But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting". You may not know what the future holds and that is the more reason why you should hold unto the one who holds the future. God knows what lies ahead of us this year and as we connect with him through prayer and fasting he empowers us to overcome, prevail and win over every battle, challenges and attacks of the enemy that may come our way. From the Scripture above tells us about the response of Jesus to his disciples when they were faced with an impossible situation that has to do with a man whose son was sick. The disciples tried all they could but their efforts to heal the young man was not fruitful. When Jesus showed up, the seemingly impossible situation became possible. Jesus was able to heal the man's son. So the disciples were amazed and they asked Jesus why they couldn't do it.  I declare: May Jesus shows up in your marriage, shows up in your finances, family in the name of Jesus. Where your strength...

KEEP YOUR SECRET.

                                  Saul replied, “He assured us that the donkeys had been found”. But he did not tell his uncle what Samuel had said about the kingship. (I Samuel 10:16) We live in a generation where many do not understand the 'Power of Secret'. Saul told his uncle about the donkeys that were found, but never disclosed to him the encounter he had with Prophet Samuel and the anointing for kingship.  You see, the world today is full of evil, wickedness, envy and jealousy. If you don’t know how to control your mouth, you may not live long. Samson told Delilah his secret and that led to his  downfall and premature death. Joseph told his brothers the secret conversation and dream God showed him instead of  keeping quiet, which led to a near death experience, imprisonment and all kinds of battles.  My question today is; who  have you been sharing your secret plans, drea...
