A LEPER, YET A WORSHIPPER.

Large crowds followed Jesus as he came down the mountainside. Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Jesus. He knelt before him, worshiping. "Lord," the man said,"if you want to, you can make me well again. "

Jesus touched him, "I want to," he said. "Be healed!" And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Matthew 8:1-3NLT

Ideclare: In the name of Jesus Christ, Receive an instant miracle in this month of November.

Hear me child of God, your circumstances should never take you away from God, rather draw you close to God.

In your moment of trial should be when you are closer to Jesus.

In the above scripture, we are told of a leper who approached Jesus. In life, there are situations that can be beyond human control. When found in it don't draw back from God, rather get close to Jesus. I have seen cases where people rather stay at home than coming to church. I believed the sickness was never intentional but accidental. Such was the case of a Leper in our scripture.

Who is a Leper?
A Leper is a person with contaminated disease, a shameful disease, incurable. It is believed that anyone with the disease is isolated from the city. Such was the poor state of the leper. Sin can be a leprosy in a man's life. Anything that deteriorates a man's health, joy, peace can be referred as leprosy.

Question: Where do you go to when you are in crisis.

Because where you go to will determine what you received. Some people make mistake of running to Families, friends, Acquaintances, social media etc. No! That was not in the case of this leper. The bible says:

1. He went to Jesus. Wow! I thought when you are sick should be when you visit a doctor? Or a Herbalist? Or stay at home? No! Inspite of the leper deformity, he came to Jesus. Halleluyah!  You may not be where you want to be today? Or Not having where to lay your head? You may be sick, you may be rot in abject poverty? Whatever your case may be, Come to Jesus! The bible says, Come to Jesus all who are burdened and heavy laden, I will give you rest. The reason why you are still where you are in  life, neither move forward nor backward in life, is where do you go to for solution?

Your blessings is in the the place of worship. Never let anything take you away from your place of worship.

Secondly, he discarded all shame, knelt down and worshipped God. If you will humble yourself in that situation and worship God, I see miracle coming to you suddenly in Jesus name.
The Bible says, when Judas betrayed Jesus instead of coming to the cross, he chose to commit suicide. Don't choose that pathway. Come to Jesus as you are, He will make you the way you should be.

Thirdly, lepers are known to wear certain clothes. In order to cover their shame. No matter how cheap a clothes of shame is, you will not be able to afford it in Jesus name.

The leper told Jesus, if thou will, you can make me well again. Though the leper may not know what is in God's will for his health. He heard about Jesus and his deeds, faith arose in him. The Bible says, faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Let faith arise in you, because you are next for a miracle in Jesus name.

I see you coming out of that sickness, coming out of every shameful acts, coming out of sin, every evil chain holding grip to your destiny break loose now in Jesus name.

Whatever form of leprosy in your life, in your family, in the name of Jesus be delivered now.

Prayer of Salvation:
The leper came to Jesus...... Your first step to salvation is for you to come to Jesus. Say after me, Dear Jesus, I believe you are the son of God. You died for me and resurrected for my justification. I accept you into my heart as my Lord and Saviour. With my mouth  I confess Jesus is Lord. I receive forgiveness of all my sins. Thank you Father for the salvation of my soul. AMEN.

God bless you. I await your testimony....

LISTEN TO GODS' VOICE TODAY

"Today if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts against Him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled against Him in the desert.” (Hebrew 3:15). God speaks to his creation at all times. As we read the bible we see instances where God spoke to unbelievers, example; Saul,  Nebuchadnezzar etc. Jesus spoke to the wind and it obeyed him, He also spoke to the fig tree. How much more you his child. It is an error for you to say you can’t hear his voice.  Jesus speaking in..…John 10:27 said; “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”  As Gods' children, we have the capacity and the ability to hear His voice. But the challenge is; a lot of us do not pay attention and listen to what God is saying. Probably because we are waiting to have the Saul’s encounter of a voice speaking from heaven (Act 9:4). God speaks to us in our spirit with a small still voice. Prophet Elijah had an encounter with this voice… II Kings 19:12 -13 “...and after

THE JOY OF SERVING GOD

And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD”. - Joshua 24:15 Joshua certainly understood how joyful it was to serve the LORD. So many do not understand the benefits of serving the LORD. Joshua refused to follow the opinions of the majority of the people but made it his personal decision to serve the Lord with his household. Serving the Lord has to be a personal decision you make with God. Even when others refuse to yield themselves to the work of God because of their ignorance of the blessings of service, you would joyfully make yourself a vessel that God can use at all times because you have understanding of God’s blessings. Few reasons why many do not serve the Lord: 1. They think they don’t have the time. 2. They will do it later. 3. T

DON'T BE AFRAID OF THEIR THREAT

But that it spreads no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. Acts 4:17 There are people who live relatively free from persecution even though they may have experienced some mockery, ridicule or ostracism because of their beliefs. One thing we must never do is to fear punishment or death, although some Christians elsewhere in the world are killed for their faith. From the scriptural text, we noticed that Peter and John were threatened for proclaiming the gospel, but here is their response in Acts 4:20; "Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than Him? We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard". (NLT) Our goal as believers is to become unshakable in our faith. Peter and John didn't flinch from their responsibility to proclaim salvation in Jesus name even in the face of imprisonment and threats. Yet, in reading this account, we may wonder how we could ever endure persecutio
