BE COURAGEOUS

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do accordingto all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:7)

It takes courage to live a faith-filled life. Most people don't realize it, but it does! It takes courage to stand up in the face of sickness and declare you are healed by the stripes of Jesus. It takes courage to believe for prosperity and give your last dime to someone in obedience to God when financial challenges are starring at you in the face.
Then, what is Courage? Courage is the ability to control your fear in a dangerous or difficult situation. 
Then and then, God instructed Joshua ''be strong and very courageous'' the storms of life do not answer to the cowards, it answers to the courageous.

The children of Israel for example thought their battles should be over when they crossed the Red Sea, so when they heard reports of giants living in the promised land, they decided they couldn't face the fight. Their courage failed them, so they took a 40year detour in the wilderness but you know what? They still could not avoid the fight. Later, they found the courage to face them. Where did they find it? In the word of God. Their leader, Joshua had obeyed the instructions of the LORD and kept the word on his mind and in his heart day and night. He meditated on it and allowed it constantly remind him that God was on their side. 

If you are going to fight the good fight of faith to the finish, you will have to do just like Joshua did. You will have to continually draw courage from the word of God. You are an overcomer and not a coward. March into the battle and slay the giants in your land and take possession in Jesus name. 

Deuteronomy 5:32  So Moses told the people, ''You must obey all the commands of the LORD your God, following his instructions in every detail.

1 Chronicles 22:13 For if you carefully obey the laws and regulations that the LORD gave to Israel through Moses, you will be successful. Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or lose heart! 

Joshua 11:15  As the LORD commanded his servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua, and Joshua did it; he left nothing undone of all that the LORD commanded Moses.

Courage can not be found in the secular news. Courage can not be found in the world of men, it is found in the Word of God. And your obedience to His Word gives you access into your inheritance. The world awaits your manifestation. I believe in YOU. 

PRAYER
1. Father i thank for this word that has injected courage on my inside, i step out victoriously from today in Jesus name.
2. I reign above every giant around me and i possess my possession for this month of November in Jesus name.
3. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I experience uncommon testimonies in Jesus name.

I BELIEVE YOU HAVE BEEN BLESSED BY THIS DEVOTIONAL. I INVITE YOU TO MAKE JESUS CHRIST THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE BY PRAYING NOW; FATHER, I COME TO YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I BELIEVE YOU DIED FOR ME AND RESURRECTED FOR MY JUSTIFICATION. TODAY, I CONFESS WITH MY MOUTH THAT I ACCEPT JESUS INTO MY LIFE AS MY LORD AND SAVIOUR, I RECEIVE FORGIVENESS OF ALL MY SINS. I'M BORN AGAIN. THANK YOU LORD FOR THE SALVATION OF MY SOUL AMEN.

FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT

Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses (I Timothy 6:12). In the journey of life, battles are not optional but mandatory. Even at birth, a child must be made to cry. At that point, he fights to overcome the force that wants to keep his lungs closed; so as to  live. Henceforth, various battles begin.  When one becomes born again, the dynamics of the fight changes. He will still fight but this time around it is a good fight. The bible calls it the “Good Fight of Faith”. The fight is a good fight; the weaponry is also a unique one, FAITH. So a believer fights the good fight of faith, this fight is  termed a good fight because the end is determined from the beginning. Victory is guaranteed at the end. It is a fight to be won. THE POWER OF FASTING AND PRAYER 1.

 In weariness and painfulness, in watching often, in hunger and thirst, in fasting often, in cold and nakedness. 2 Corinthians 11:27 The need for fasting and prayer in our Christian walk as believers cannot be overemphasized.
