YOU CAN NOT BE KILLED

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity, from two years old and under,  according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men (Mathew 2:16).

The birth of Jesus our saviour was one that generated a lot of battles. Understand that the devil is not always happy whenever God starts working. He will not fold his hands and allow it happen, he will fight it but definitely he can’t stop it.

The news of the birth of Jesus which brought Joy, Hope and Faith to many, also brought anger, pain and stirred up envy in the heart of Herod the king.

What a cruel world we live in. It is not everybody who congratulates you that are actually celebrating with you. Herod got so bitter to the point that he decided to kill Jesus. He made an order that every child from two years old should be killed. The good news is that the devil can never outsmart God. God is always ahead of the devil.

Matthew 2:13 – when they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, “Get up”, he said, take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him”.

Herod did not succeed in his mission to kill baby Jesus because God revealed his evil plan to Joseph ahead of time. You will always be ahead of your enemies. The secret plans of those that desire your downfall and those that wish you dead will be exposed, and you will always escape in Jesus name. You cannot be killed for God is with you. You are protected in Jesus name.

Isaiah 54:15-17GNB
Whoever attacks you does it without my consent; whoever fights against you will fall.  “I create the blacksmith, who builds a fire and forges weapons. I also create the soldier, who uses the weapons to kill.  But no weapon will be able to hurt you; you will have an answer for all who accuse you. I will defend my servants and give them victory.” The LORD has spoken.

What an assurance of defense in God's word! Victory is mine and yours in Jesus name. HALLELUYAH!!

Job 5:12 He upsets the plans of cunning people, and traps the wise in their own schemes, so that nothing they do succeeds;

PRAYER:
1. Oh Lord disappoint the devices of my enemies against my life and family in Jesus name.
2. The Lord is my shield, therefore no evil shall befall me and my family in Jesus name Amen.
God bless you.

LISTEN TO GODS' VOICE TODAY

"Today if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts against Him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled against Him in the desert.” (Hebrew 3:15). God speaks to his creation at all times. As we read the bible we see instances where God spoke to unbelievers, example; Saul,  Nebuchadnezzar etc. Jesus spoke to the wind and it obeyed him, He also spoke to the fig tree. How much more you his child. It is an error for you to say you can’t hear his voice.  Jesus speaking in..…John 10:27 said; “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”  As Gods' children, we have the capacity and the ability to hear His voice. But the challenge is; a lot of us do not pay attention and listen to what God is saying. Probably because we are waiting to have the Saul’s encounter of a voice speaking from heaven (Act 9:4). God speaks to us in our spirit with a small still voice. Prophet Elijah had an encounter with this voice… II Kings 19:12 -13 “...and after

DON'T BE AFRAID OF THEIR THREAT

But that it spreads no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. Acts 4:17 There are people who live relatively free from persecution even though they may have experienced some mockery, ridicule or ostracism because of their beliefs. One thing we must never do is to fear punishment or death, although some Christians elsewhere in the world are killed for their faith. From the scriptural text, we noticed that Peter and John were threatened for proclaiming the gospel, but here is their response in Acts 4:20; "Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than Him? We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard". (NLT) Our goal as believers is to become unshakable in our faith. Peter and John didn't flinch from their responsibility to proclaim salvation in Jesus name even in the face of imprisonment and threats. Yet, in reading this account, we may wonder how we could ever endure persecutio

THE JOY OF SERVING GOD

And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the river, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD”. - Joshua 24:15 Joshua certainly understood how joyful it was to serve the LORD. So many do not understand the benefits of serving the LORD. Joshua refused to follow the opinions of the majority of the people but made it his personal decision to serve the Lord with his household. Serving the Lord has to be a personal decision you make with God. Even when others refuse to yield themselves to the work of God because of their ignorance of the blessings of service, you would joyfully make yourself a vessel that God can use at all times because you have understanding of God’s blessings. Few reasons why many do not serve the Lord: 1. They think they don’t have the time. 2. They will do it later. 3. T
