MADE FOR THE BLESSING

I will make them and the places surrounding my hill a blessing. I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessing. (Ezekiel 34:26)

The goodness of God knows no bound. It is in the nature of God to bless His people at all times. However, why many do not experience the manifestations of these blessings as they ought to, is due to lack of spiritual growth. God is not a waster of resources.

From our scriptural text we discovered that the first thing God takes into consideration before the release of His showers of blessing is the promise of building the people. He said; "I will make them...." The making process always precedes the blessing season. What you are asking God for now in prayer, have you paused for a moment to ask yourself if you are matured enough for it? Can you handle that financial breakthrough? Can you handle that marriage? We are meant to focus first on our spiritual, emotional and mental growth before demanding access into certain level of blessings.

The bible reveals this truth to us in Acts 20:32 "now I commit you to God and to the Word of His Grace, which CAN BUILD YOU UP, AND GIVE YOU an inheritance among all those who are sanctified."

Until the word build you up, it cannot give you access to an inheritance. As it is in the physical, so it is as well in the spiritual realm. You cannot give a car key to a 4 year old to drive no matter how you love the child. Like my son will always say,"Dad, let me drive" and I will look at him and smile, because I know he is not matured enough to handle what he is requesting. Likewise, God often smiled at you, because He knows you do not understand the magnitude of what you are demanding. Give yourself first to the word, and grow in order to access your inheritance.

Galatians 4:1-2  What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.

Apostle Paul made us understand that as long as you're a child, you're no different from a slave. Who is a child? A child is someone not matured in reasoning, in decision making. You can be of age and still acts as a child. Age is not a yardstick for maturity. What gives you access into the blessings you are made for, is your growth in the word of God.

1 Peter 2:2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.

Have you seen when a newborn baby is hungry? The baby will cry and cry until the mother gives her food. When you see a baby that does not cry for food such a child will look retarded, malnourished.

In other words, when a believer does not crave for spiritual milk, that is the word of God, he/she becomes retarded. Though is a believer but lacks necessary essential nutrients for his growth. The essence for the crave is for nourishment, growth.

Prayer:
1. Oh Lord, build me up with your word today.
2. I walk in the fullness of God's blessing, I can never be limited and I can't be stopped in Jesus name.
3. The blessings of God is at work in my life making me rich and prosperous in everything I lay my hands on in Jesus name amen.
GOD BLESS YOU.

LISTEN TO GODS' VOICE TODAY

"Today if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts against Him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled against Him in the desert.” (Hebrew 3:15). God speaks to his creation at all times. As we read the bible we see instances where God spoke to unbelievers, example; Saul,  Nebuchadnezzar etc. Jesus spoke to the wind and it obeyed him, He also spoke to the fig tree. How much more you his child. It is an error for you to say you can’t hear his voice.  Jesus speaking in..…John 10:27 said; “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”  As Gods' children, we have the capacity and the ability to hear His voice. But the challenge is; a lot of us do not pay attention and listen to what God is saying. Probably because we are waiting to have the Saul’s encounter of a voice speaking from heaven (Act 9:4). God speaks to us in our spirit with a small still voice. Prophet Elijah had an encounter with this voice… II Kings 19:12 -13 “...and after

START WITH PRAYER.

O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Psalm 90:14 Starting the year in prayerlessness is a very dangerous move to make. From the scripture above, we see David placing a demand on God in the place of prayer for early satisfaction. He is asking God God to satisfy him early with mercy. Why was he specific by adding "early" and not just saying oh Lord satisfy us with your mercy? The mistake most of us make in our prayer, is failure to be specific and detailed in our prayer. The demand for earl satisfaction will result to early accomplishment and achievements. Now is the time for you to learn this wisdom from David and tell the Lord that you desire to be satisfied early in 2021 with his mercy, favour, goodness, presence, wisdom, success and vision. Halleluyah! Lateness and delay is when the achievement of January is accomplished in December. May you not be found sleeping while your mate are succeeding, maximising their year and prosperin

THE POWER OF PATIENCE.

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my saviour; my God will hear me (Micah 7:7). One of the characteristics of a matured believer is in his or her ability to patiently wait on God for his intervention even in the midst of fierce oppositions and challenges. From the anchor scripture, we see the prophet making this his personal choice- “But as for me”. He was intentional about it. You see, in life, you have to understand that following the crowd always can make you miss out on God’s plan for your life. There are decisions you have to make of which other people may never support or understand, because you desire to please God with your life and not man. Others may choose to cut corners, seek for short cuts which will ultimately cut them short. Some cheat their way through due to impatience, pressure to fit in, and low self-esteem. As believers, our response to life ought to be different. Prophet Micah said “I wait in hope for the LORD” do you know that, ho
