By faith the people passed through the Red sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned. (Hebrew 11:29) Your faith is what guarantees your access to your next level. Faith was the key that enabled the children of Israel to pass through the red sea on dry land. Whatever affects your faith, has successfully brought stagnation into your life. When your faith in God's word is intact, you don't need to worry about the devil and his activities. Faith puts you in charge. Notice Jesus conversation with His disciples in Luke 22:31-32, "and the Lord said, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as a wheat: But I have prayed for thee, THAT THY FAITH FALL NOT; and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." Joshua refused to follow the opinions of the majority of the people but made it his personal decision to serve the Lord with his household. Serving the Lord has to be a personal decision you make with God. Even when others refuse to yield themselves to the work of God because of their ignorance of the blessings of service, you would joyfully make yourself a vessel that God can use at all times because you have understanding of God’s blessings. Few reasons why many do not serve the Lord: 1. They think they don’t have the time. 2. They will do it later. 3. T

From our scriptural text, we understand that one of the keys that guarantee access to an enjoyable life is to keep our tongue from speaking evil and to stay away from lies. Your life moves in the direction of your words. If you don’t like where your life is headed, then it is time to examine what has been coming out of your mouth. Any man that cannot have control over his tongue, cannot have control over his life as well. Proverbs 6:2 NIV says, “you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth".
