YOU NEED INSTRUCTION, NOT SYMPATHY.

His mother saith unto the servants,“whatsoever he saith unto you, do it” - John 2:5

The pity of men have never delivered victory in any situation. It only brings about temporary relief. Our scriptural text  is extracted from the story of Jesus and his mother at the marriage ceremony at Cana. You know the embarrassment experienced to be under such situation. At the middle of the wedding, they ran out of wine needed to entertain their guests. Of course you know the human nature and its tendencies to mock people in their moment of distress. I believe people started murmuring and complaining, saying things like, “but if they did not have enough money, why did they invite us here, knowing they do not have what it takes to entertain us?”  I wonder why they did not get money and send someone to go buy them more cartons of wine but rather resorted for a miracle instead.

The bible informs us that they told Mary, the mother of Jesus about the situation and she did not waste time sympathizing and lamenting or crying over the situation because obviously, that would not have made any difference, rather, she ran to the ‘living word’, engaged Jesus into the situation and commanded the servant to get ready for an instruction. It was the instruction Jesus gave them that brought about the change and the miracle they needed. Beloved, whatever you are going through now, what you need is not sympathy and pity, you need to connect with God for an instruction. You are one divine instruction away from your testimony. May God position the right people around you from today that will give you access to vital instructions that would change your life in Jesus name.

Disconnect from those who, all they do is sympathizing without offering solutions. They will only keep you wallowing in self pity and frustration.

Isaiah 61:3  To all who mourn in Israel, "he will give beauty for ashes, joy instead of mourning, praise instead of despair. For the LORD has planted them like strong and graceful oaks for his own glory.

Wow! The word was specific, to all who mourn in Israel. God's word brings comfort. I release the Joy of the Holy Ghost in your heart in Jesus name.

Proverbs 1:8  Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching.

Divine Instruction prevents you from making errors. Divine Instructions are guidelines to your destination. Your success in life is tied to the Divine instruction you received. Not people's sympathy. Get connected to the word of God today and experience a total turn around in Jesus name amen.

Prayer Points -
1. My spirit is yielded to receive instructions from you oh Lord, Father speak to me today and  direct my life in Jesus name. Amen.
2. Oh Lord bring men with wisdom into my life who will instruct me at all times in Jesus name.

LISTEN TO GODS' VOICE TODAY

"Today if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts against Him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled against Him in the desert.” (Hebrew 3:15). God speaks to his creation at all times. As we read the bible we see instances where God spoke to unbelievers, example; Saul,  Nebuchadnezzar etc. Jesus spoke to the wind and it obeyed him, He also spoke to the fig tree. How much more you his child. It is an error for you to say you can’t hear his voice.  Jesus speaking in..…John 10:27 said; “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”  As Gods' children, we have the capacity and the ability to hear His voice. But the challenge is; a lot of us do not pay attention and listen to what God is saying. Probably because we are waiting to have the Saul’s encounter of a voice speaking from heaven (Act 9:4). God speaks to us in our spirit with a small still voice. Prophet Elijah had an encounter with this voice… II Kings 19:12 -13 “...and after

START WITH PRAYER.

O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Psalm 90:14 Starting the year in prayerlessness is a very dangerous move to make. From the scripture above, we see David placing a demand on God in the place of prayer for early satisfaction. He is asking God God to satisfy him early with mercy. Why was he specific by adding "early" and not just saying oh Lord satisfy us with your mercy? The mistake most of us make in our prayer, is failure to be specific and detailed in our prayer. The demand for earl satisfaction will result to early accomplishment and achievements. Now is the time for you to learn this wisdom from David and tell the Lord that you desire to be satisfied early in 2021 with his mercy, favour, goodness, presence, wisdom, success and vision. Halleluyah! Lateness and delay is when the achievement of January is accomplished in December. May you not be found sleeping while your mate are succeeding, maximising their year and prosperin

THE POWER OF PATIENCE.

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my saviour; my God will hear me (Micah 7:7). One of the characteristics of a matured believer is in his or her ability to patiently wait on God for his intervention even in the midst of fierce oppositions and challenges. From the anchor scripture, we see the prophet making this his personal choice- “But as for me”. He was intentional about it. You see, in life, you have to understand that following the crowd always can make you miss out on God’s plan for your life. There are decisions you have to make of which other people may never support or understand, because you desire to please God with your life and not man. Others may choose to cut corners, seek for short cuts which will ultimately cut them short. Some cheat their way through due to impatience, pressure to fit in, and low self-esteem. As believers, our response to life ought to be different. Prophet Micah said “I wait in hope for the LORD” do you know that, ho
