THE POWER OF PATIENCE.

But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my saviour; my God will hear me (Micah 7:7).

One of the characteristics of a matured believer is in his or her ability to patiently wait on God for his intervention even in the midst of fierce oppositions and challenges.

From the anchor scripture, we see the prophet making this his personal choice- “But as for me”. He was intentional about it. You see, in life, you have to understand that following the crowd always can make you miss out on God’s plan for your life. There are decisions you have to make of which other people may never support or understand, because you desire to please God with your life and not man. Others may choose to cut corners, seek for short cuts which will ultimately cut them short. Some cheat their way through due to impatience, pressure to fit in, and low self-esteem. As believers, our response to life ought to be different.

Prophet Micah said “I wait in hope for the LORD” do you know that, how you wait can affect what you get? Many wait in complaints, depression, lamentation and in hopelessness. But we are admonished today to wait in hope. How do we wait in Hope?

1. To Wait Expectantly: Psalms 130:5 says, "I WAIT FOR THE LORD, MY SOUL WAITS, AND IN HIS WORD I PUT MY HOPE”, That means wait with expectation. Focus on God’s promises and not on your challenges.

2. To Wait With Thanksgiving. Don’t pollute your waiting time with complaints. Romans 8:25 (MSG) says: but the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy. Be joyful and thankful through the process. God is making you larger. Rom. 4:20 Abraham waited glorifying God for his promises.

There is much power in patiently waiting on God for His plans and purpose to manifest in our lives. Wait and you will see His glory today.

Job 14:14 If a man dies, will he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait for my renewal to come.

Proverbs 14:29 A patience man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly.

Show me a man of great understanding and I will show you a patience man. Beloved, Christianity is not a short cut to greatness but a sure cut. Never avoid the process because the making process always precedes the delivery and manifestation period.

Prayer
1. Oh Lord I receive the grace to wait patiently on your divine timing for my life in Jesus name.
2. I come against any form of impatience, greed and lust of the eyes in Jesus name.
3. I receive the grace to stand firm in patience on your word at all times in Jesus name.
God bless you. You can share, like and comments on the post. I await your testimonies in Jesus name.

START WITH PRAYER.

O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. Psalm 90:14 Starting the year in prayerlessness is a very dangerous move to make. From the scripture above, we see David placing a demand on God in the place of prayer for early satisfaction. He is asking God God to satisfy him early with mercy. Why was he specific by adding "early" and not just saying oh Lord satisfy us with your mercy? The mistake most of us make in our prayer, is failure to be specific and detailed in our prayer. The demand for earl satisfaction will result to early accomplishment and achievements. Now is the time for you to learn this wisdom from David and tell the Lord that you desire to be satisfied early in 2021 with his mercy, favour, goodness, presence, wisdom, success and vision. Halleluyah! Lateness and delay is when the achievement of January is accomplished in December. May you not be found sleeping while your mate are succeeding, maximising their year and prosperin...

LISTEN TO GODS' VOICE TODAY

"Today if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, do not harden your hearts against Him, as the people of Israel did when they rebelled against Him in the desert.” (Hebrew 3:15). God speaks to his creation at all times. As we read the bible we see instances where God spoke to unbelievers, example; Saul,  Nebuchadnezzar etc. Jesus spoke to the wind and it obeyed him, He also spoke to the fig tree. How much more you his child. It is an error for you to say you can’t hear his voice.  Jesus speaking in..…John 10:27 said; “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”  As Gods' children, we have the capacity and the ability to hear His voice. But the challenge is; a lot of us do not pay attention and listen to what God is saying. Probably because we are waiting to have the Saul’s encounter of a voice speaking from heaven (Act 9:4). God speaks to us in our spirit with a small still voice. Prophet Elijah had an encounter with this voice… II Kings 19:12 -13 “...and ...

THE POWER IN YOUR TONGUE

Death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:21) Your words decide your fate. If you confess starvation over you life, God will not overrule it because you have what you say. The power of what you say cannot be overemphasized. When the world is speaking its own language, learn to speak from heaven because you are from above and you are above all. When you learn to speak God's word over your situation, you are superimposing what God has said over every contrary situation in your life. When you do this, the lesser power is bound to bow. Beloved, when we make confession of God's promises, it is not a play of words. As you make these confessions, you are speaking life to yourself. And your situation is obligated to change for the better. " Keep saying what you want until the things you see becomes what you are saying". Always remember that the strategy of the devil is to put you under extreme pressure so th...
